She was endorsed by both Rafael Cruz and Sarah Palin while Ted Cruz also gave her praise. She also released a campaign ad which criticized Obama’s actions that led to higher national debt.

Working for Trump

Katrina was unsuccessful in her run for congress, and received few campaign contributions against Sessions. After her loss, she became the spokesperson for the Tea Party leadership fund, and in 2015 while attending a meeting for Tea Party activists alongside Ted Cruz, she met Donald Trump. She met with Trump’s aides several times after that, and was eventually hired to become the national spokesperson for Trump’s presidential campaign. She frequently appeared on television in that capacity, and became one of the defenders of Trump despite the controversies surrounding him.
