The Net Worth of Capa Mooty

How rich is Capa Mooty? As of late-2018, sources inform us of a net worth that is over $3 million, earned through a successful career in business. Her wealth has also likely been elevated with her marriage to Aikman, who has an estimated net worth at $25 million, but as she continues her endeavors, it is expected that her wealth will also continue to increase.

Life Before Aikman

While there is no information about Capa’s early life or her education, it is known that she pursued a business career at some point in her life. She developed a strong interest in the casual glam style of fashion, and co-founded the company Luxeliner with four other women. The business is a mobile boutique that moves around parts of Dallas, selling clothes as well as accessories; people have described it as the clothing equivalent of a food truck.

During this time she was also married to Jerry Motty and they had two children from that marriage. Jerry is a lawyer based in Dallas and is also a healthcare executive. This marriage made him a relative in law of Jerry Jones, who is the owner of the National Football League (NFL) team, the Dallas Cowboys. While it hasn’t been stated publicly, many sources believe that it was this connection that helped introduce her to Troy Aikman, long after she divorced from Mooty.

Troy Aikman

Troy Kenneth Aikman played for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys for his entire career; he was the 1989 number one overall draft pick, after which he played 12 consecutive seasons with the Cowboys as their starting quarterback, earning six Pro Bowl selections during his tenure. He also managed to help the team win three Super Bowls during his careers, culminating in an MVP selection in Super Bowl XXVII. He ended his professional playing career as the Cowboys all-time leading passer and held the record for most career wins in a decade by any quarterback until it was broken by Paton Manning in the 2000s. He mentioned that he retired due to persistent back issues that prevented him from playing optimally.

Later he was elected to both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame. After his playing career ended, he transitioned to a sportscaster role, primarily working with the Fox Network.

He also ventured into business, and was a joint owner of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series racing team called Hall of Fame Racing with Roger Staubach, another former Cowboys quarterback. He is also a former owner of the professional baseball team, the San Diego Padres; he later sold his share of both those teams.

Relationship and Marriage

Troy was also previously married, to Dallas Cowboys publicist Rhonda Worthy, and they had three children together including one from Worthy’s previous marriage. However, they separated in 2011 and divorced later that year. He was also been romantically connected to other personalities, such as country singer Lorrie Morgan and actress Sandra Bullock. Prior to starting a relationship with Mooty, he was in a relationship with a woman named Samantha.

In 2017, Troy posted on social media announcing that he had proposed to Capa, and that they were getting married. The proposal was done while they were on a vacation in Italy’s Lake Como at the luxury part time home of actor George Clooney. Their marriage was held a few months later in Santa Barbara, California, with it being heavily documented on social media. They had a small ceremony on the beach, followed by a reception at the Four Seasons, attended by numerous family members and friends.

Is Capa Mooty on Social Media?

One of the reasons there is very little information about Capa is due to a lack of any online presence. She doesn’t have any accounts associated with any of the high profile social media websites including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Her husband on the other hand is highly active on all three websites, sharing a lot of pictures of day to day endeavors including photos of his wife and his family. He also posts a lot of pictures of football events, and took time to post on their wedding held last year. He also posts a lot on Twitter, mainly keeping track of the professional football scene as a part of his work with the Fox network.
